COOKIE POLICY

This information relates to the website https://edera.city/ (the “Website”) and is provided by Edera S.r.l., Impresa Sociale with registered office in Milan, Via Bergognone, 34, postcode 20144 (“Edera”, the “Company”, we”, “us”), in its capacity as Data Controller pursuant to Article 26 EU Regulation 2016/679 (“GDPR”).

1. WHAT COOKIES ARE AND HOW WE USE THEM

A cookie is a small text file that a website sends to your device (computer, smartphone or tablet) when you visit it, where it is stored before being sent back to that website during your next visit.

Thanks to the use of cookies, the Website is able to identify users who access it in order to improve their browsing experience. To prevent cookies from being stored on your terminal and browser, the user must disable them.

2. TYPES OF COOKIES

There are different types of cookies depending, first of all, on who installs them on the user’s terminal. Cookies may be installed by the same publisher of the Website that the user is visiting (“first party cookies”) or by a third party that installs cookies through the first Website (“third party cookies”).

  • Technical/functional cookies. They can be either session cookies (e.g. those that are automatically deleted when a user closes the browser) or persistent cookies that are used to remember information used between two separate logins. These cookies are used solely to enable the user to navigate or to provide a service requested by the user. They remember information that the user provides while browsing the pages of the Website. They include, for example, cookies that allow the user to make a purchase, those that allow authentication in restricted areas or those that store the language and nationality selected by the user when visiting the website.
  • Analytical/performance/statistical cookies. They allow us to recognise and count the number of visitors and to see how they move around our Website as they use it. This helps us to improve the operation of our Website by ensuring, for example, that users easily find what they are looking for.
  • Profiling and marketing cookies. They may come from us or from third parties and are used to analyse the interests and browsing habits of individual users in order to personalise their browsing and provide, for example, targeted content, including advertising.

Only profiling and third-party analytical cookies require the user’s prior consent.

The Website uses both first-party technical cookies, for which the user’s consent is not required, and third-party analytical and profiling cookies, which, on the other hand, require consent in order to be used.

3. METHODS FOR GIVING CONSENT TO PROFILING AND ANALYTICAL COOKIES

3.1 During the first visit to the Website, it is possible to accept all or part of the cookies other than technical cookies in the Website’s cookie banner.

3.2 During subsequent visits to the Website (provided that you have previously expressed your preference for the use of cookies, as set out in 3.1 above), you can change your selections and remove previously installed cookies directly from the Website’s homepage.

3.3 In any case, through the browser settings. The procedure for configuring these settings is as follows:

You can delete cookies that you have previously accepted. If you are using a PC with a recent version of a browser, you can delete cookies using these shortcut keys: CTRL + SHIFT + DEL.

If the shortcut keys do not work and/or you are using an Apple computer, you must find out which browser you are using and then click on the relevant link:

Microsoft Edge; Mozilla Firefox; Google Chrome; Opera; Safari; Apple

Remember: If you use several browsers, you must delete cookies in all of them.

With devices such as smartphones, tablets, etc., it is a good idea to check that each device’s browser is set to express cookie preferences.

For behavioural advertising cookies, you can also set your preferences via www.youronlinechoices.com (the system works with reference to member companies that use behavioural advertising cookies).

4. COOKIES INSTALLED THROUGH THE WEBSITE
