Rome, EDERA Workshop on Urban Regeneration and Energy Efficiency
On Tuesday, June 30th from 10.00 to 12.30 at Metropolitano – Urban Center in Rome, EDERA has organized the first EDERA Workshop on urban regeneration and energy efficiency, bringing together all stakeholders interested in working on the deep industrialized retrofitting of residential heritage, starting with public housing.
This initiative is part of the LIFE-Renova project, an initiative aimed at supporting the Municipality of Rome in the retrofitting and decarbonization of public ERP housing stock through EnergieSprong offsite solutions.
The project provides for the creation of a national Central Hub and a network of territorial Local Hubs, offering technical support to Public Administrations for decarbonizing ERP heritage and to stakeholders to facilitate the implementation of interventions. Specifically, the project involves as pilot cases the Municipality of Rome, Vicenza, Brindisi and the Metropolitan City of Naples.
The workshop’s objective is to introduce the initiative and gather participation, needs and interest from the stakeholders involved. A shared discussion will be proposed to identify the needs of the territory, Public Administration and interested parties. The final output will be a collection of work proposals to be implemented through the Renova project and commitments to develop together a co-design process over the next two years.
