Heat Pumps: Launch of Collective Purchases with Renewable Energy Communities
The energy transition is a technical challenge, but above all a social and governance challenge. One of the main social levers follows the motto “strength in numbers” and is at the heart of the Life Street HP Reno project, funded by the European Commission and coordinated by EDERA.
The project aims to launch collective purchasing groups for heat pumps, making it easier and more cost-effective to replace polluting boilers with sustainable electric solutions. To implement this initiative, EDERA has established an initial collaboration with the KonCeRT Renewable Energy Community, active in Trentino with over 300 member families.
On February 12, in Mezzolombardo (TN), the initiative was presented for the first time in the Trentino region during a public assembly attended by our Silvia Biandrate. Activities on the territory continue with a new meeting scheduled for March 12 in Trento, at Sala inCooperazione (Via G. Segantini 10), which will focus on participatory governance models and operational tools for collective energy efficiency.
