European Housing Alliance, EDERA joins
European Commissioner for Energy and Housing, Dan Jørgensen, has launched the first European Housing Alliance, an initiative designed to bring together member states, regions, cities, and stakeholders to strengthen cooperation, mutual learning, and the sharing of best practices in housing policy across the EU.
EDERA, already active at European level as a founding member of IC-Europe, the new construction industry association, has chosen to join the Alliance with the aim of bringing the voice of the dozens of companies in Offsite Hub Italia and the experience of over five years of work on offsite innovation and MMC.
The Alliance will help deliver the European Affordable Housing Plan presented by the Commission to address the housing crisis affecting millions of Europeans.
In parallel, the Commission is developing the Pan-European Housing Investment Platform, which will help better coordinate existing financing instruments at EU, national, and local level and improve their overall effectiveness.
